I am a relatively new team member of Halcrow having spent the last 25 years running my own international consultancy specializing in master planning, urban design and tourism development. My work has taken me to over 50 countries covering the overall planning process from countrywide strategies to detailed designs. This background adds to the considerable wealth of Halcrow's experience, bringing an innovative, imaginative and international perspective to the team.

Besides our extensive international experience, our approach to planning and design is also solidly grounded by our implementation experience. Halcrow's commitment to our clients does not end with the vision, but with its realisation. Most of our projects get built.

Tourism has figured highly in my work and is an increasingly important element of urban economic development strategies. We will find many more countries, regions and cites looking to tourism as a growth industry that provides economic and community benefits while at the same time enhancing the community's image.
