Donna Wirt

I have spent three decades working in all areas of urban and regional development, with urban and rural communities in the Middle East and Latin America and the Caribbean.

I am interested in economic development and working on national human settlement development projects as well as urban management initiatives.

My primary interest is socio-economic development and influencing the public processes which upgrade communities and affect people's incomes, environment and shelter options.

Improving people's lives is the objective of development planning and my involvement in both public planning agencies and business has enabled me to contribute to this objective and resolve development issues successfully.

My job allows me to travel and meet people from different cultures around the world, which I love about my job.

One of things I like best about working for Halcrow is the cultural diversity of its employees and of the sheer variety of our projects. I am able to continuously learn and no two days at Halcrow are ever the same.

My belief in human development affects all that I do and I am fortunate to have colleagues who share that perspective.
